Day Four ~
Today is, August 27, 2014 and we are talking about having 'A Cup of Wisdom'. How are things going? As I read the comments from the 'Love' devotional on yesterday I see God moving. I have received emails and text messages of women sharing how they are having to take a step back and do some soul searching and evaluating as they read each devotional. One lady wrote me saying, "This 'Love' devotional has messed me up."
After reading through all the messages I asked God what was taking place with the women who joined this movement towards transformation. The Holy Spirit spoke clearly and said, "First, it is the anointing that is flowing from person to person as everyone is collectively reading, praying, and applying each days devotional. Secondly, it is because we are on the same page, and have made ourselves available to God so that He can speak to us in those secret places of our heart." Then I was led to Acts 2. We are together in unity. We decided to join this movement towards transformation and we are serious about it. We all desire to be transformed. There's a violent wind ripping away all the stuff that has held up captive. We are getting free from the bondage that has tried to destroy us individually and collectively. There's a shaking. There's a breaking. The chains are falling!
Please do not miss this. This is day four. We are half way through this 8-day devotional. The enemy would want nothing more than for us to throw in the towel. Trust me...it's about to get deep. It will become more painful. Don't quit! Keep reading, keep wrestling, keep pressing. Our greater is coming! We are seeing fruit although we may be wrestling through some of the reading...because we are on this journey together. That is why it is important to share...become vulnerable and make comments on the blog so that others can see they are not alone. Please use wisdom when sharing, but please consider joining the conversation here.
Today's question ~ How will you exercise wisdom in your life?
I'll start...this is Gail Dudley. I will exercise wisdom by remaining silent at times. I'm quick to speak, but it's time that I sit back and be still. Everything I think I do not need to speak aloud.
Your turn....how will you exercise wisdom in your life?

This is MareeshaMorris and I will exercise wisdom in my life by not always being so quick to respond to situations. Instead I will take time to reflect and remember that it is okay not to act upon a situation straight away; especially if the situation is an emotional one.

ReplyDeleteI will exercise wisdom by evaluating my spending of time and money.
ReplyDeleteI will exercise wisdom by learning to be patient while God is working in my life! I will learn to be better at reserving judgement when it comes to life situations.
ReplyDeleteI will exercise wisdom by learning to be quiet and listening for God to speak to me.
ReplyDeleteI will exercise wisdom by discerning who and what things to let spend my precious time with. Im realizing more and more just how precious my time with God is and when it is wasted on individuals or people not worthy I take from God.
ReplyDeleteExercising wisdom starts with preparation. I will commit to understanding what God expects from me and implementing those principles. When starting a new exercise program there can be soreness, but I will stay committed and work through the pain!
